Microsoft stapt in DVB-H alliantie(01-03-2006)
Microsoft wordt lid van de Mobile DTV Alliance, waardoor het een extra stimulans geeft aan de ontwikkeling en uitrol van DVB-H mobiele televisie standaard in Noord-Amerika. De alliantie wordt gevormd door grote partijen als Intel, Modeo, Motorola, Nokia en Texas Instruments. De doelstelling is "to promote the growth and evolution of the open standard for broadcast digital TV on mobile devices". Bron: Mobilecowboys
